Leisure and Tourism
(Double Award) GCSE

This is a vocational GCSE which looks at the leisure and tourism industry and the part it plays in today’s society.

The course consists of three units, two of which are assessed through portfolio work and the third unit through an external examination covering the industry. This includes customer service and marketing. Local organisations like Paignton Zoo will be used as a basis for portfolio work and work placements in Year 11 will be based in a Leisure and Tourism organisation.
